The term Adinkra came from the legendary king of the Gyaman, Nani kofi Adinkra, who wore clothes with colorful patterns made up of symbols with special meanings.

 

The design is suitable for stitching on regular cotton,sweater like fabricks,heavy linnen,denim and fleeces.Not suitable for very thin stretchy fabrics.

Cut away stabilizer is advised.
