The harmony embroidery design

The design is suitable for stitching on regular cotton, sweater like fabrics, heavy linnen, denim and fleeces. Not suitable for very thin stretchy fabrics.

Cut away stabilizer is advised.

The square size makes it ideal for quilting blocks.

Mpatapo means “pacification knot.” It is a symbol of pacification, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

The Adinkara harmony symbol represents the bond or knot that binds parties in a dispute to a peaceful, harmonious reconciliation. It is a symbol of peacemaking after strife.

The meaning of the symbol was taken from The Adinkra Dictionary by W. Bruce Willis.
